CLOUD & SAAS SECURITY
TrustSink Attack on Microsoft Entra ID: Novel technique injects a malicious MFA provider into Entra ID's federated trust model, capturing plaintext passwords in real-time during legitimate logins — completely invisible to users and traditional security tools. Highest risk for federated identity deployments.
543,699 GitHub Credentials Still Exposed: Valid credentials remain publicly accessible in GitHub repositories with a median exposure duration of 784 days, per Google Threat Intelligence. High risk for credential stuffing and supply chain attacks.
Google OSS Bug Bounty Temporarily Narrowed: Google suspended its OSS VRP product vulnerability submissions after a wave of invalid AI-generated automated reports overwhelmed the responsible disclosure pipeline.
IDENTITY & AUTHENTICATION
TrustSink / Entra ID Federated Trust Hijack: Rogue MFA provider injected into Microsoft Entra ID federation harvests plaintext credentials during login with no user-visible indicators. Immediate audit of federation trust relationships recommended.
CVE-2026-96940 (CVSS 8.8) — Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Privilege Escalation: Authenticated Exchange users can escalate privileges to read other organizational mailboxes. On-premises deployments must patch immediately.
MOBILE SECURITY
